Can anyone help me identify this porcelain object?
I found this cute antique object at a farmers market in indiana, it is in great condition with no chips. Its about 5 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches wide, deep rich colors in perfect condition, highlighted in 14K gold, on the top there’s a little sign that says “Marchand de Fer” which is french for “iron trader” on the bottom there is no identification but there appears to be a scratched out area where there should have been a company name or seal. There is the number 7078 on the bottom of the object. It is etched in to the porcelain. I have photos please email me for them, I will try and upload them if possible, Thank you– Carla

Perhaps take the object to your local auction rooms for help. If you don’t have one locally, how about an antique shop.
